Campbellton, NB – Mélissa Savoie, independent consultant for Tupperware and instigator of the “One Stop Shop” event, was happy to present to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation a cheque for $807.00. In fact, this amount was collected through an organized evening of shopping during which about a dozen independent consultants from various companies, such as Tupperware, Caroline Boudreau Jewelry, Mary Kay, It Works Body Wraps, Hempz & Mascara Lashfood, Scentsy, Younique, Color by Amber, Epicure, Leggings and Your Journey to Health, displayed their products and generously accepted to donate their share of the profits to the Foundation. In addition to a financial contribution, they all agreed to give two products that were used to prepare two surprise baskets. One of these baskets was offered as a door prize while the other one was drawn following a ticket sale. The two lucky winners of these baskets were Ms. Andrée Bastarache-Leblanc and Ms. Annie McIntyre respectively.
“After the success we had with the first edition of the event, I knew we had to do it again”, said Ms. Savoie. “So, I then invited fellow consultants to join in and, once again, several accepted!”
For his part, Mr. Jean-Luc Landry, Executive Director of the Foundation, declared: “I would like to sincerely thank Ms. Mélissa Savoie for her wonderful initiative and all the consultants who agreed to accompany Ms. Savoie in her endeavor, which contributed to the success of the event. The Foundation is always extremely happy to be able to count on the support of the members of our community.”
