Changing the Face of Men’s Health in the Restigouche Region!

Campbellton, N.B. – The Friends of Healthcare Foundation gratefully accepted an amount of $1,982 during Mustache Month. Several healthcare professionals of the Restigouche Zone have joined together to take part in the Mustache Month event for a third year. They wanted to ensure the funds raised would remain in the Restigouche region.

In addition to health professionals, community citizens also participated, namely a group of employees from the Department of Social Development and local 1418 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees who chose to donate their contribution to the Friends of Healthcare Foundation this year. Moreover, it is with pride that they donated the sum of $575 to the Foundation. A special thank-you to these new partners for their participation and especially for having chosen the Foundation!

Jean-Luc Landry, Executive Director of the Friends of Healthcare Foundation, wishes to thank the members of the Mustache Month Committee: Gérard LeBreton, Roberto Nadeau, Pierre Arseneault, Éric Landry and Janluc Gagné, as well as all those who contributed to the success of the event. “This 3^rd edition of the Mustache Month was a success with a total amount raised of $1,982”, said Mr. Landry.

Finally, the Foundation would like to specify that all funds raised will go towards the purchase of an Endo Cavity Transducer for prostate cancer screening in the Restigouche.
