MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDATION REGARDING COVID 19

Campbellton (NB) – Since May 11, 2020, the office of the Friends of Healthcare Foundation has been open during regular hours, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday. From now on, the Foundation will be working with reduced staff for an indefinite period in order to respect the social distancing guidelines established by Public Health authorities.

The Radiothon that was supposed to be held in April 2020 will be broadcast at a later date and in a shorter format by our partner radio stations: CIMS, CKNB and CHRQ. They will announce the names of all those who already made a donation. This new model, adapted to the context of the pandemic, will not make it possible to accept donations onsite, to take calls, to make interviews or to hold draws for gift cards or tablets. The Foundation apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause.

It is with regret, but with the objective of prioritizing the health of our community, that the Foundation is cancelling this year’s Golf Tournament that was scheduled for July 3, 2020. As for other activities, the Foundation will monitor the situation very closely and will adjust its programming based on upcoming announcements and recommendations from the Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health of New Brunswick.

The Foundation recognizes that the need to support health services in Restigouche is even greater during this pandemic. We are asking people to be united, to stay home, to stay safe and to give what they can. If you want to donate, here is how:

This pandemic is hitting the Restigouche economy hard. We encourage people to support their businesses, their organizations and their Foundation. In our region, for our region!

We will be ok!
